Unlike many others we take production measurements during your home design consultation. No salespeople – just good, honest, advice.
Our consultants will bring product samples, large demonstration panels, colour swatches as well a tablet showing a large variety of our shutter installations to help you visualise your proposed shutter installation.
Our shutters are manufactured to our exacting specifications and that means to the millimetre. We can provide CAD drawings it required and this is especially useful for shaped shutters and French door shutters
All our fitters are trained and employed by the company. We don’t use sub-contractors.
The office will arrange a date and time for your home consultation. We take a production measure during the consultation – so only one visit is needed.
We will email a quote with each shutter itemised. We won’t sell to you in your home.
Let us know which shutters you would like to go ahead with and we will create an invoice. On receiving a 50% deposit we will place the shutters into production
Once we have sight of the delivery we will book in our fully employed fitters (they may even have been the original consultant that visited) for your install.
You will receive a post fit call from the office just to ensure you were pleased with the process from start to finish.
Romsey has a large number of period properties which have bay windows and this causes issues with privacy as the majority of these homes tend to be street facing. Bay window shutters are a great solution because the louvers on the shutter panels can be split (tier-on-tier shutters) so that the top and bottom can be operated independently. This is especially useful as the rooms which are street facing are usually lounges or bedrooms. Unlike curtains which need to be drawn for natural light with shutters the louvers just need to be adjusted.
If you are lucky enough to have a large sitting room with multiple windows then you probably also know that these rooms can get incredibly hot as there tends to be more direct sunlight due to the multi-aspect windows. Our client not only had this issue due the large floor to ceiling windows but also suffered from privacy issues as the front windows were street facing. By adding a midrail into their full height shutter panel we were able to provide a solution whereby the bottom louvers could be angled for privacy and the top left in the open position to maximise light.
Whether your bathroom is big or small the issues can be the same in that finding a window covering that deals with direct contact with water or condensation can be difficult. In this instance, we installed an ABS composite waterproof shutter that is a perfect solution. This is paired with marine grade stainless steel hardware ensure that the customer has a product that provides privacy and will stand the test of time.
