Unlike many others we take production measurements during your home design consultation. No salespeople – just good, honest, advice.
Our consultants will bring product samples, large demonstration panels, colour swatches as well a tablet showing a large variety of our shutter installations to help you visualise your proposed shutter installation.
Our shutters are manufactured to our exacting specifications and that means to the millimetre. We can provide CAD drawings if required and this is especially useful for shaped shutters and French door shutters.
All our fitters are trained and employed by the company. We don’t use sub-contractors.
The office will arrange a date and time for your home consultation. We take a production measure during the consultation – so only one visit is needed.
We will email a quote with each shutter itemised. We won’t sell to you in your home.
Let us know which shutters you would like to go ahead with and we will create an invoice. On receiving a 50% deposit we will place the shutters into production
Once we have sight of the delivery we will book in our fully employed fitters (they may even have been the original consultant that visited) for your install.
You will receive a post fit call from the office just to ensure you were pleased with the process from start to finish.
If you are lucky enough to have a great bay window, then you also know that dressing it with a window covering that let’s in lots of light and provides privacy at the same time can prove tricky. Many properties have a bay window in the lounge as well as the master bedroom and to compound the issue these tend to be street facing meaning you have the issue of passers-by looking in or from the houses opposite. By installing bay window shutters that solved this issue by adding a control split that allowed the top and bottom louvers to be controlled independently. Bay windows are a perfect match for plantation shutters as the shutters make the most of the space by following the natural lines of the bay window. We hope you agree they add that finishing touch.
Full height shutters really add a feature to any room and in this case provided a perfect solution to these large floors to ceiling windows. The fact that the room had multiple windows resulted in the room not only getting very hot but also provided issues in terms of privacy. The fact that the windows went to floor level meant passers-by could easily see into the lounge. By specifying the plantation shutters with a mid-rail this allowed the top and bottom bank of louvers to be controlled independently providing privacy below the rail and bouncing light into the room from the angled louvers above the mid-rail. To max the light choose large louvers and one of our ranges of white paint finishes.
