Yes – just the one. No sales person – all our sales consultants fit shutters as well and so you not only get great advise but the production measurements taken by one of our sales consultant/fitters at the same time.
During your home consultation we will show you a selection of shutter materials, operation mechanisms, louvre sizes and colours. Large shutter panels will make it easy for you to see how shutters would look at your windows. During the consultation we will also have images of previous installs so to help you visualise your shutters.
Our shutters are made to measure and not off the shelf or cut to size. We even supply CAD drawings should a client require that – normally this would be for a special shape shutter or shutters for french doors, which require special shaping of the shutter itself.

The office will arrange a date and time for your home consultation. We take a production measure during the consultation – so only one visit is needed.
We will email a quote with each shutter itemised. We won’t sell to you in your home.

Once we have sight of the delivery we will book in our fully employed fitters (they may even have been the original consultant that visited) for your install.

We love bay window shutters. Our client was looking for internal shutters as their home was street facing. This resulted in issues with privacy at both street level but also from the houses opposite. By installing bay window shutters, we provided the customer with greater control over their privacy and also bounced light back into the room. The shape of splay bay and square bay windows makes them ideal for shutters as we can follow the natural shape of the window.
This beautiful lounge suffered from high solar gain due to the dual aspect windows. These floor to ceiling windows also created issues with privacy as the property was on a high-end development. We fitted these beautiful plantation shutters on the edge of the window recess, which allowed our customer to bi-fold the shutters flat against the wall. Combing large louvers with a silk white painted finish meant light flooded into the room and adding a split in the louvers meant the bottom part of the panel could be adjusted independently to provide privacy.
Our client, an architect, installed this stunning new bathroom and was looking for a contemporary solution for dressing the window. We recommended these waterproof shutters in a pure white finish to match the sanitaryware. These bathroom shutters are manufactured from an ABS composite and combined with marine grade stainless steel hardware to ensure that they were fit for purpose.
Our client wanted shutters throughout their home and of course we were happy to help. Their gable end windows at the front and back of the house provided and interesting challenge as there were also inward opening doors below. We provided a stunning solution for the windows that highlighted the architectural features of their home. You may have seen the lovely review and amazing pictures from our Southampton customer on their tier on tier shutters. Having a great canvas always helps when it comes to choosing the type of shutters to install. You can scroll through these images here to get an idea of what tier on tier shutters can do for you home. Please note that why these shutters work so well in this instance because the windows are already very large. That means that the rails (the non moving parts on the bottom and top of a shutter panel) do not take over the window. On shorter windows these rails can dominate the window and look heavy which they don’t here. Think about your window and what will work with it – there are other shutter solutions for maximising light and we can help with that.
